Faith Hwang Yi Ping

Ms Faith Hwang is an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) at Tan Tock Seng Hospital’s Medical Intensive Care Unit. She has been in critical care since 2010 after graduating from the National University of Singapore (NUS). She completed her Advanced Diploma in Nursing (Critical Care) in 2013 and earned her Master of Nursing in 2021, receiving multiple academic accolades including the Libby Tin Peh Medal and Wee Kim Wee Medal. In 2022, she completed her APN internship and received full accreditation.

With a strong interest in intensive care medicine, Faith brings over a decade of experience​ to the ICU. Beyond clinical work, she plays an active role in education and training. As a member of the Faculty of APN Training at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, and an adjunct lecturer at NUS, she is committed to mentoring postgraduate nurses and future APNs.

Fiona Lyn Pereira

Ms Fiona is an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with the Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine. She has been practicing as an Intensive Care Nurse since 2010 and worked in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) from 2010 to 2019. She obtained her Advanced Diploma in Critical Care Nursing in 2013 and later attained her Master of Nursing from the National University of Singapore in 2021. Following the completion of her APN internship, she achieved full accreditation in 2022 and was certified in Collaborative Prescribing in 2024.

​Currently based in the Outbreak Intensive Care Unit (OICU) at the National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID), Ms. Fiona provides specialised care to critically ill patients requiring life-sustaining therapies. In her role as an Intensive Care APN, she works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centred care. She is also actively involved in nursing education and serves as a key resource and mentor within the ward setting.
